The Youth Hub partners with Good to Nature to engage youth leaders for #GenerationRestoration in China.

Youth Hub Overview

Our Mission
The Youth Hub fosters collaboration, shared action and learning to help accelerate the global youth-led restoration movement. Our vision is that young people are meaningfully engaged in ecosystem restoration efforts both on the ground and at the policy level.

Nature & Climate Engagement Series
The Youth Hub is codesigning a Nature & Climate programme that covers topical questions encountered by youth leaders on their journey to understand how to make real impact in the face of climate change and nature loss.
The programme is open to all the youth climate activists, ecopreneurs and leaders who are members of the Youth Hub, as well as the World Economic Forum Global Shapers community.

Climate Youth Negotiators Programme
1t.org supports the Youth Negotiators Academy, that through its first programme the Climate Youth Negotiators Programme, a global intergenerational programme, is redressing the systemic inequality of youth representation and leadership in multilateral negotiations and decision-making.
The programme is co-founded by four #GenerationRestoration Youth Hub members and is supported by a wide range of global stakeholders.

Youth Challenge Winners
In 2021, 1t.org ran the UpLink #GenerationRestoration Youth Challenge, a global call for youth-led solutions to conserve and restore ecosystems in support of one of humanity’s greatest challenges — climate change.
The solutions address a range of ecosystem challenges, including deforestation and forest degradation and decline in pollinators, and the lack of conservation training and opportunities for young people to become equipped with the tools to protect nature.

Climate Leaders Programme
In partnership with Goodwall, 1t.org contributed to the #ClimateLeaders program gathered the voices of youth around the world and brought them to 2022 United Nations Climate Change Conference (COP27) to influence the debate on climate change.
The best ideas in the fields such as finance, science, technology, or education were showcased at the in Sharm-El-Sheik, helping turn ideas into action.
The project was supported by UNICEF, YOMA, Generation Unlimited, Friends of Bata, JA Worldwide, and 1t.org, an initiative of the World Economic Forum.
